Borealis Consulting, LLC, is a woman-owned small business based in Littleton, Colorado. Established by Dr. Ravay Snow-Renner in 2005, Borealis Consulting consists of a network of independent consultants experienced in social science research, evaluation, and policy work. They provide a full range of R&D, evaluation, and communication services, with particular expertise in education reform policy, leadership and implementation issues.

Services provided include research design and methodology, research syntheses and analyses, policy analyses, program evaluation, and dissemination, for a variety of audiences.

Staff at Borealis Consulting have developed, contributed to, and completed a number of research and policy projects related to leadership standards; standards-based curriculum, assessment, and instruction; mathematics and science education; teacher quality; federal and state accountability policy; and service-learning. They also have authored numerous issue-oriented policy briefs and research and evaluation reports in their work with federal, state, and local education agencies, non-profit and for-profit organizations, and private foundations.
